so i arrived here safe and sound, thank goodness for that. but my luggage did not. i do have one bag..of pants and sweatshirts and shoes. i do not have outlet converters, toiletries, summer clothes, or school supplies. the internet is being ridiculous right now, i'm told it's being overworked and will improve when we go to our host families...on sunday...my laptop will be nice and dead in about 15 mintues so i better hurry it up.
basically i feel isolated and helpless. my spanish isn't what i want it to be, i don't know where things are located in this city, and i can't communicate with my friends and family back home like i thought i would be able to. i also haven't slept in who knows how long...
