So...the whole medical system is a tad different over here.
First of all, there are farmacias on basically every street. Also, you can get many drugs without a prescription. I haven't had any personal experience with a hospital back home, but from what I hear it was pretty much the same here.
Second of all, You can't trust the doctors!! They tell you whatever they can to get more money out of you! To an extent...they're not terrible and you can actually trust them. You just have to be careful and use your head.
You know what else is different? This anti-inflammatory/pain killer medicine the doctor said to get. It looks just like my bottle of eye drops! I'm supposed to put 30 drops into some kind of liquid and drink it. cool!
