puedo hacer por lo mismo.

I've been in Chile for over three weeks now and what do I have to show for it besides being completely in love with this place and these people?

Things I can do all by myself (that I couldn't when I first got here):
take the micro (bus) from house, to school, back again.
find my way to the beach, mall, supermarket, and home again.
order ice cream. buy things at the supermercado.
express my ideas (simply) and understand my host mom when she expresses hers.
bestito.
play all major guitar chords :)

Chileanismos (special spanish words/phrases only used in Chile that I've learned so far):
aca - aqui, here.
guagua - baby, not bus.
sensillo - small bills/coins
vuelto - change
bacan - cool!
pololo - boyfriend
frutia - strawberry
chan chan - ta da! or dun, dun, dunnn
upa pa pa - ooo lala!
~o~o - nerd
hacer un vaca - pool your money together to all pay for something
marraquete (sp?) - french bread
