Well I don't generally like to go along with what everyone else is doing...but talking about things you're thankful for is a good habit to be in, I think. So I'm willing to go along with everyone else and join in the typical late November chatter.
I'm not sure yet if this will be a list or several paragraphs or a prayer or what. I imagine it'll be a combination. I tend to be a somewhat indecisive person, mostly because I like to enjoy the best parts of a range of options. I like to believe there's some good in everyone and everything. After all, God did pronounce his creations as "good," did He not? And although sin has corrupted so much, He still wins out in the end so the goodness CAN'T be all gone. This is something I've been thinking about recently. It's one of God's qualities that I'm SUPER thankful for - that He can turn literally ANY situation into something good. God is good. Yes, He is.
laughter. love. peace. senses - especially smell. trust. mercy. forgiveness. smiles. sunshine. bread. creativity. people. opportunities. learning. bare feet. cheese. fun. pencils. breezes. Spanish. fruit. relationships. the internet. Puffy. nature. washable skin - think about it. How gross would we look if our skin were like cotton and could be permanently stained. How much would that limit our lives because we would be afraid of getting stained? Ew.
Well that's a good start. It's not an exhaustive list by any means but I'm tired of sitting here writing. Time to go spend time with some of my favorite people in the world <3
