Transitioning

Surprise! Cheechica got a make-over! 

My life is transitioning, so I thought my blog should too. 

It started out as a study abroad blog, but when that was over I couldn't bear to part with it. So it morphed into an awkward blend of anything I felt like writing about. 

And I guess that's pretty much where I'm planning for it to stay - an online journal of sorts. But since my life is more in the marriage/housekeeping/parenting stages, it will probably be more heavily flavored with those topics in the coming months. I do have some goals for this new stage of blogging though:

PICTURES.

I need more pictures. I'm going to go ahead and make a rule for myself that if there isn't at least one picture, I will not post until I find or take one to go with it. Personally, I don't love reading. But pictures really help to keep my focus. Plus I need to get better at documenting life. And I've let my passion for photography dwindle. So hopefully this new goal will get me back on track.

MORE POSTS.

When life was exciting in a foreign country, I posted more than once a week! Now I'm lucky to get one in once a month. I think trying to post at least 4 times a month (aka once a week) will encourage me to see adventure in the every-day and think more deeply about the important things in life.

Because bunnies are my favorite. And I needed a picture to be able to post this.
