Foto Friday! (double feature)

Happy Friday!
I can't believe we made it!
Monday felt so long that on Tuesday morning, Husband and I looked at each other and wondered if it were Friday already. It was not. But now it is.

Since we missed last week, this post has two weeks worth of pictures! You're welcome. I did notice that nobody complained about the lack of a post last week. I figure either you are all very gracious or nobody is actually looking at these posts. :p

Here we go:

We baked scones and had a tea party.

when your mug is as big as your face

that time it snowed in April

I didn't realize the snowman's face was so impressive or I would have taken a pic too (hyacinths and dandelions for eyes, nose, and mouth)

I was holding her baby sister that way and turned around to find her doing the same

the love of reading starts young in this household

She calls this: "the peacock" (I think it has to do with trying to stick out her tail feathers)

and then it turns into a somersault

I taught her about turning blankets into capes - bonus: it doubles as a baby carrier. She thought I said "cake" rather than "cape" so we ended up eating a cupcake shortly after this picture was taken.

Favorite activity this week: singing hymns

turning the couch into a trampoline is a close runner up for favorite activity of the week

she did this all on her own. it will be sad when she's not light enough to not damage the furniture.

Unfortunately, my focus was turned to manual and I didn't notice until now.

we were so glad to have this great aunt over to play and do a project in the kitchen!

making fruit pizza - a favorite childhood tradition of mine that i was thrilled for my girl to experience

don't let the sweater fool you, it was 80 degrees.

so glad to be outside again :)
and oy with the focus again!

These two sillies! This is during their 1,2,3,eleven! countdown before they race across the living room to the kitchen, and back.
