Foto Friday!

We've made it to another Friday!

We did some things better this week: Food fotos!
We did some things worse: Forgot to pack the camera :(

Fotos I wish I had from this week:
Ellie kissing "Daddy's Grammy" goodbye
Lucy being awesome at the eye doctor's (her eyes are fine, false alarm)
Ellie behind the counter, helping to make drinks at Grandpa's coffee shop

Here's what we did get:
You can decide for yourselves if we took all these pictures on just two days or if we wore the same clothes for two (or more) days. ;)

We took a trip to visit Husband's Grammy and got to see this beauty too!

Strutting his stuff.
Some kind of fancy pheasant.

I was struck by the awesome combination of colors and patterns. North American bird natives are less spectacular. Some of the clothes people wear in other cultures make more sense when you see their wild-life.
I forced her to come gather sticks with me to help us start the fire in our wood stove.
Having a fire in our wood stove in April is a little bit depressing.

Once she was out, I couldn't get her to come back in.

She's a really good stick picker-upper.
Thankful for generous friends who share their magical marshmallow suit with us to help with the transition out of the swaddle. It works so well!

Sconies! So yum.
My baking has increased since I've been at home fulltime. Besides these, I've made:
pop tarts, cinnamon rolls, scones, brownies, muffins, bar cookies, cut-out cookies, bread, rolls, and probably more that I'm forgetting.

Lovin' this Little
Finally found a good use for that empty frame. :p

This Punkin' is so ready to sit up. She's got the strength, just not the balance.
Also, socks are the best toys.

Got it!

*gasps* Another one!

Aaaand, down. The balance will come, Little One.

So many stripes. So many dots. So much love. And that belly!

More sitting. More socks.
Note: If she's not buckled in, she will lean forward and somersault right out.

Made this salad again. You seriously have to try it. Recipe here.
