Happy weekend, everyone!
We stuffed our week absolutely full,
but we finally have a relaxed weekend (first one out of the past 5!).
Hopefully we can recover a bit. And clean. We really need to clean.
If you read last week's post (which actually made it on a Friday - shocker), you know we've been dragging our Realtor around to house after house for the past 3 years and we were a little heart-broken not to get the one we put an offer on two weeks ago.
Two days after I posted that (so Sunday, if you're good at math), we got a text from a friend asking if we'd seen the house that had just come on the market on the same street as The One That Got Away. We hadn't, but we wasted no time in setting up a showing the same day. If you started a stopwatch when we got that text and stopped it when we heard back from our Realtor that our offer was accepted, that stopwatch would not have gotten to 9 hours. That's how crazy this market is, folks. If you're thinking of selling your house in he near future, DO IT NOW! Besides going to see the house and signing the paperwork to put in an offer, we also took naps and hosted friends for an evening of #smarts-Curious Minds-Group Think for Thought (we're still working on an official name. until we choose one, i've decided to do a mashup of as many of the proposed names as I can think of at the time).
It was a busy day, to say the least. And the rest of the week followed suit.

When you let these Africans take over your kitchen, magic happens. Sadly, I only thought to grab my camera after it was mostly cleaned up - which, arguably, is part of the magic. Still so bummed I didn't think to take any other pictures from their visit over the weekend! What fun times. |

I'm not a crier. Except for when I see pictures like these of my sweet sweet girls. |
 |
We played Bible charades! These two are fighting over their baby and I'm about to cut it in half. Kidding. They were actually being so kind and sharing with each other that I snagged a pic. |

You can tell this kid has accompanied us to five too many meetings with calculators and papers to sign. |
 |
Tummy time is more exciting with a patient big sister. |
 |
You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose. Or your sister. Apparently, you CAN pick your sister's nose, though. |
 |
When nobody will stay asleep for their afternoon nap, everybody gets put in the tub. They go in cranky and come out clean. Which is at least somewhat of an improvement. |
 |
More sitting on this favorite step while we can! Three cheers for warm weather! It took us the better part of the week to stop dressing like it was still cold and rainy. |
 |
A devilish grin if I ever saw one. That bear better watch out! |

This kid is seriously cute. |
WowL really looks like her daddy in those last couple of pictures!! These girlies are too precious. Congrats on the house!! Can't wait to see it!
