I include things like "take a shower" and "eat lunch" on my to-do lists so that I can feel productive when I get to cross something off. And also because I really do forget to do those things. #mombrain
I enjoy washing and folding the laundry but I just can't bring myself to open my dresser drawers and put the clothes away. (UPDATE: I switched to an open shelving situation and it's working a bit better) (UPDATED UPDATE: Husband now folds and puts away almost all of the laundry and it's working the best.)
I like to eat while I poop. just to be contrary.
In case you hadn't noticed, I like to abuse and overuse periods. A lot.
It's difficult for me to throw away a tissue that hasn't been completely used up. This #miserlife problem is only exacerbated by the fact that I'm an allergy sufferer who often requires tissues unexpectedly. protip: Never mix your laundry with mine because it will always contain flecks of soggy tissue.
I don't wash my hands after every diaper change. 😳
Husband is always bringing me delicious snacks from meetings or events that I don't get to be part of. Aside from the half of a donut I saved him yesterday, I never remember to return the favor. #rude

I refuse to follow recipes. Mostly because I skimp on as many ingredients as possible - one fewer Tb. butter, 1/2 the sugar called for, ACV (or white) instead of any other kind of vinegar, etc. #miserlife
Cooking for people stresses me out. Probably because of the above.

I don't wear (or own) a bit of make-up because I despise things I have to re-buy (live Christmas trees, paper towels, toothpaste, food...). Also because men get to look in the mirror and feel confident without changing a thing so why shouldn't I? And if that fails, l can fall back on the "I'm not pretty because I don't try to be" excuse.
When I was little I remember asking my mom if I could be a Mommy and a princess and a cashier. She said I could be anything I wanted. Two of those three are still my dream jobs - I'll let you guess.
I love personality tests but can never type myself. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm such a well-rounded, emotionally mature person.

When I hear Spanish I have a physical, emotional, spiritual reaction. It feels like a deep breath that tickles my heart and leaves me feeling more alive. I'm pretty sure this means I will not live my whole life in Pennsylvania. But there are a lot of people that I love in Pennsylvania.
One of my favorite things about marriage is the relief when Husband says, "oh don't worry, I did that" just as I was starting to panic about something I forgot.
