It was a full weekend. One of those where you realize at the end of the day that you haven't sat down, or hydrated, or had half the conversations you wanted to have with your spouse, or given your kids adequate eye contact. And then you repeat it again the next day. 😬 There will be repercussions on Monday. But as someone who is usually very careful to not overschedule, this pace can be a good change. They were all good things. Serving. Reconnecting. Learning. Loving. We are rich to have the friends and family and health that affords us the ability to have crammed the weekend full of so many good things.
Saturday morning waffles
Funeral meal prep/serve/cleanup
Homecoming
Fixing a broken dryer
40th Anniversary Party
Communion prep
Sunday school
Sunday morning worship
Picnic/reunion with childhood friends
Dinner to a new baby's parents.
Now off to bed.
