Chau gringos

Yesterday was the last full day in Chile for most of my gringo friends. We spent it on the beach eating pizza hut pizza, watching dog fights and lovers make out, taking pictures, chatting, laughing, not playing soccer with Ryan who wished we would, and watching the last sun set of Chile. (not for me of course! I'm staying an extra semester, in case you didn't know. You probably did.)

My buddy Natalie summed it up about perfectly when she said: I've never fit in with a group of people so well. Everything here just makes sense to me.

- Good morning, Mom. I've just woken up but I'm still tired.
> Then go back to bed!
- Oh. ok!

- Awe shucks. It's raining today. I dont feel like going to class.
> Teacher sends out email that class is canceled. OR Mom encourages you not to go because it's hazardous to your health [or both].

- Micro bus driver: Oh. There's still 3 feet of space between me and the next car. I'll pull up.

- Pololos (boyfriends/girlfriends): I love my pololo so much...I think I'll make out with him right now and not care who sees me.

- I didn't feel like getting up when my alarm went off. So I'm gonna be late. nbd. Everyone else probably did the same thing.

- Professor, I didn't have time to do the homework...
> No problem. Just email it to me when you get around to it.

- Mom: Oh, you have a cough? You better drink tea and stay in bed all day so it doesn't get worse.

- Oh, you're going to be out with your friends all day? How wonderful that you have something to do.
- Oh, you're going to be home playing guitar all day? How wonderful that you have nothing to do.

Everything is wonderful in Chile.
