Merry Millers 2018 Memoir

Excuse me for a moment while I go look through Google Photos to try to figure out where 2018 has gone!?

Oh right.
It started out with a new job which gave us the opportunity to

get really good at car travel and public restrooms

because we got to tag along with Steven on a few work trips to Ohio.
Nowadays he does mostly office work, but he lets us tag along there too.

We said goodbye to one of our favorite hang out spots 👇

and hello to a new one when Grammy and Honey Gramps moved to Messiah Village.

A retirement village is a great place for children. <3

We made our first family beach trip

and extended family trips to West Virginia

and Ohio.

We picked up some new sports: 

walking,

jogging (an excuse to gawk at sunrises), 

and two-wheeled bike riding.

We made some new friends

(neighbor girl a few doors down, Friday playgroup, Ashcombe's story time buddies)
but kept the old ones too, of course. ;)

We hosted more

And dated less :/

(add to list of things to improve next year)

All in all it was a very good year rich in love.
We're looking forward to big things like international travel and baby cousins to snuggle as well as small things like more dinner parties and breakfast dates in the new year.
